Kathmandu - EBC Gang Reunion

Morning Departure

We got ready, had breakfast together, boarded the tempos that Boni had arranged to go to the airport.

We reached on time & did a group check-in (we were all on Buddha Air). It took a lot of time!

Ticket Drama

Alima had booked her ticket using her Aadhar card but presented her Singapore passport at check-in. This confused the airline staff & she had to rebook the ticket.

Tinku also had some ticket rebooking issues.

Anyway, finally everything was sorted out & we boarded the flight to Kathmandu.

Split Accommodation

At Kathmandu, most people had booked the room in hotel Thamel Park, but George & I booked in hotel Apex near the airport (because our flight next day to Kochi is at 6:00 am).

So we checked into the hotel, kept our bags there & went to Thamel.

Reunion with EBC Gang!

At Thamel Park hotel, we met the EBC gang!

I met Deepa after 20 yrs! It was amazing - hard to catch up on so many things, but we could pick up the conversation just like that! She still calls me Anukutty ❤️

Lunch Together

We had lunch together. Deepa gave everyone a book/crossword book and chocolates. Took photos. Fun!

Thamel Shopping

We went shopping in Thamel Park. I went with Bushra & gang - bought:

• Traditional Nepali butterfly pants (skirt-pant combo)
• Few bracelets for Liza
• Traditional Nepali bowl & duffel

Final Dinner & Goodbye

We had dinner together, said our goodbyes & came back to Apex hotel.

Slept the little time we had.
